Has anybody used the dealer tool to (the one you can purchase from the web) bleed out the ABS unit on a Rocket 3?

Yes, I have it and used it.

Did it operate the ABS unit to fully bleed out the brakes, and is it straight forward to use?

If I remember correctly Mully also has the tool and used it to bleed his brakes.

Yes and no.
It works, but the learning curve was a PITA.

I use tune ecu to do it.

I use tune ecu to do it.

Tune ECU could not do the job a couple years ago.
