David Platt short exhaust 2004

Also the stock O2 sensor is narrow band only works at idle so it only really can adjust the L Tables on the map. Look up the narrow band vs wide band O2 sensors on net. Big difference and also in price. Dynojet is wide band. You cannot do much with NB sensors.

Keep asking took me ages and lots of questions to understand EFI systems. Still learning too.

A narrowband sensor is really good in the area of stochiometric (afr 14.5) mixtures. There it is even better than a wide band.
It can do that at any load and rev.
But if you are looking for something like afr 13 the wideband is your choice.
Another way is to let it adjust temporarily to 14.5 with a narrowband. After that you add the amount of gas you need to reach the mixture you are looking for.
That is how the Harley ATs (Powervision, Supertuner etc.) do it.

Ok, now ive got your attention......and now you know i havent got a clue on this.........what the f do i do!
is there a Map to down load for the outlaw pipes and is there a way of stopping the sensors from moving the tune around.
Easy and simple answers pls....feeling older by the minute

Thanks

I've got 2015 Rocket X with Ram Air, DP Deep tone exhaust and a hanso tune. I'm happy to forward you a copy if anyone can vouch for it being compatible, I have no idea.
Hi Baloo - I’ve just fitted a set of Dave Platt shorties and am about to stick the ramair on my late 2014 Roadster. Would you be able to send me a copy of your tune please. Is a hanso one? Sorry to be so cheeky and hijack the post but I’m having problems getting the right tune for mine. I posted recently and had three tunes sent to me - one was for a classic! So I’m not tempted to load any of them!

If ou could help it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
I don't mind at all. Bear in mind I don't have the shorties though, I have the deep tone. Just made 163 ft lb and 151hp on the dyno lat weekend though. Send me your email address and I'll send it over. Be sure it's compatible though.
