Anybody had any experience with these? They offer K&N filter and exhaust package. Reflash required from dealer. How is sound and performance? What about decel? Popping and such? Finally if all is well, where is best price? I have D&D on my Victory and they are top quality, but expensive.

They sound rather nice, not as loud as the D&Ds on the Standard model but since they delete the cats they sound pretty good. I added a Tuneboy tune and picked up around 20 or so horsepower. There is no decel popping as I recall. The TORS tune from Triumph will work with these pipes.

I've since installed Jardines which are much louder and add quite a bit more power.

I have been considering the D&D's because they sound pretty good. The K&N is a drop in under the seat filter...its not the triple setup under the claw...but thats okay cause I want to add just the 20hp or so that GPMAZ commented on and really no more. There are sound bites on the D&D website of the R3T on the dyno and it sounds pretty good. I think the price is set unless you find an obscure place or person to buy from. I cant find it cheaper than $687 w/ the filter. Let me know if ya find a deal! :D

tors picts

Does anyone have picts of the tors exhaust or a part # and where they can be brought at I like the d&d as well as the jardines system which one makes the most power with an under seat k&n filter I want to put trip k&n later looking do some ideas from my rocket bros thanks

D&D and K&N install complete

OK, I installed the D&D slip-ons with the K&N filter upgrade. I then had the 20235 tune upgrade installed by Castle Powersports in Nashville for $44 bucks tax and all. Very pleased for a dealer install. The beast can breathe much better now and there is definitely an increase in acceleration across the board. The sound is not as loud as I would like but at least it sounds like a motorcycle, and like my Massey Ferguson. I'm really happy with it and would do again. The bike does not pop or anything but run fast. Being it's a tourer and I'm happy to tour, this is all I will likely do. The Gipro or whatever is enticing and the thought of removing the secondaries and installing triple K&N's is wearing on me also. I also purchased a very simple and effective throttle lock from Fast Eddy's. This allows me to rest my right arm and wrist. I also installed an inexpensive but effective drink holder from Barefoot Willies. Add it all up with the looks, pure bulk, and performance and I'm loving the R3T beast more every day. There ain't no more shuttles folks so thank God for the Rockets.
