Crash

Oh Crap Stephan, That is bad news mate, did they stuff up surgery or is this from the original accident injury. I asked this as when I broke my back the Specalistist told me I might get back pain for the rest of my life but if they were try and operate there was a very high chance of ending up a para I crushed my L1 a T12 so i count my self very lucky.
With all this new modern medicine and them playing around with Stem Cell growth technology they may yet be able to repair you down the track.
Good Luck and please don't be a stranger You know you have Mates Here

Tough luck Stephan sorry to hear this news mate.

Best of luck ( and lots of hard work no doubt) for a continued recovery.

Regards, Mike

Wow, bummer Stephen. Really sorry that happened to you. I will pray for full recovery. They can do amazing things nowadays.

I've tried to get in touch with Stephan a few times but haven't heard back from him. Thought I'd see if anyone has anything to update.

Richard, I guess according to the web tracking usage, last seen Feb 9th. Hope he has regained mobility.

STATE OF MIND GOES A LONG WAY DONT EVER GIVE UP OR GIVE IN!

No real update, my T-9 was crushed, they are holding the back together with two rods screwed into my backbone... still in a back brace trying to get some bone to grow together. I remain a paraplegic which doesn't look like that will change.
I do go to rehab twice a week and the gym twice a week to build upper body strength and to loose weight, lighter is better in a chair.

Thanks for everyone's feedback/support and concern... if you are every in Saint Augustine stop on by, would love to have lunch with you all.

I am at a loss for words my friend. Be assured if I get down Florida way we will definitely have lunch. If you want to pm me a phone number I will be delighted to give you a shout, if you are up to conversation.
Take care my brother.
Respectfully,
Greg
