Crappy Gas Mileage Part 2

Never worried about the MPG of any vehicle I have ever had, why buy a 2300cc bike and fret over the small stuff now if I was getting 65mpg then I would be worried for a beast like the rocket should never get that kind of mileage.
 
My 2012 R3R seems to get around 35mpg at 70 - 80 mph.
Over 85 she drops to about 30mpg.

Over the years I have found that MPG is directly related to the performance of the bike. Example>>If you develop a vacuum leak even a small one your MPG will drop. Same with a break in the spark plug wire insulation. That is just two examples.
