Crankshaft position sensor

Do you have a picture of where the wire attached goes to? Recently put the upgrade gear position sensor through that sob of a hole.

The crank sensor connector on my 07 goes up by the starter to the left side of bike just in front of the side cover
it is a ***** to change brackets and tight fit (wires and hoses) some of which i left out when i did mine.

I reckon the bike wasn't ran in a little while and/or the check valve on the oil tube from tank down to sump is passing.
And there was a lot of oil in the sump as a result, came out the hole.

Hence why rumpletom's experience contradicts scot in exile's statement.

Now I'm concerned about the oil, there shouldn't be alot in that area? Bike has been run frequently only thing I jacked it up on the lift and didn't level it up, doing a wheelie with back tire barely on ground, kinda difficult to get it even on my lift, wasn't going to up there long

Ah there ya go. If the front end was tilted up then what little oil is in the sump at the best of times will all run to the back end and come out that CPS hole if you remove it.
If the bike was not ran in a few days or weeks then oil can creep down from the tank and increase what's in the sump too.

Thanks Turbo, that's the great thing about this site having peeps that have experience willing to share their knowledge
