Competition Werkes exhaust for 2.5L coming soon

So in your 50 odd years building exhaust systems and tuning bikes Paul...does this make any sense or is it just 'sort of'?
Tal, I can only speak about the earlier Rockets, these as standard have a "narrow band" O2 sensor, this means that the O2 sensor only reads the idle circuit, thus only resetting that area of tune when the so called "12 minute tune" is done.
Nothing is altered in the upper ranges, so with any mods, the tune will be well off.
With these new Rockets, I would expect that they would be set even leaner, and it seams that the ECU's are not able to be adjusted, look what happened to TTS when they attempted to Super charge this model, it all went dead in the water.
Why was that ?
If any one would have been able to get into the ECU, it would have been them.

I guess only time will tell. Of course i can't say or assume the R3 ECU is anything like the 1200 Bonneville family ones. The ECU auto adjust works on the 1200, that's pretty established (although it takes 20-30 minutes rather than 12)
Whether that's relevant at all regarding the R3 i have far too little knowledge to say.

Here’s a link to the sound which he does admit is too loud without baffles
It's far from the worst i've heard.. Still think i'd prefer the baffles in, both for my own sake and not being a cop magnet.

I am just thankful that there's an option.

When we hear how it sounds, what it looks like from both sides, when its available and what it will cost, then we can all be consumers and vote with our dollars.

Until then, I am just going to say thanks! Really looking forward to whatever you can provide next...
