Any one here fitted one?, i ordered a new one yesterday and the plunger which has a fancy rubber boot on it looks as if it will be a pain to fit( the plunger which goes into the master cylinder is screwed in ) £80uk pounds for a lever
Any how i looked through the service manual and found what i was looking for page 388 + or - a few pages.

I replaced with aftermarket that are, in my opinion, better and no doubt less expensive. The install is similar though, I'm sure. As far as the rubber boot- I remember it being a little tricky until I figured out to put the plunger in first and then the rubber boot. My memory is flawed sometimes, so if you have much trouble- it's the other way around, but I think that's right.

The great thing about aftermarket is you can get them so they're adjustable in length and, more importantly- "foldable." If you ever go down, or even drop it in the parking lot, it's nice to be able to get home. I went down a while back on the left side and the clutch lever folder right up, as designed. Still using it today.

Journeyman turned me on to the AVDB levers a few years ago. Being a spaz and ex member of the little yellow special bus club I was a tad apprehensive about changing the levers. With me messaging Journeyman every few minutes he assisted me in putting them on. I have had them around 3 years and will get new ones if these go tits up. I don’t think they will though. Great levers. 👍
