Clutch stuff

Yes, bike is all original in the engine
Im starting to put it back together and see if it will still make the growl noise. Clutch plares all looked good. But i want to get a new clutch cable and clutch cable adjuster

Talked to a mechanic and he suggested to keep a eye on it and if a new cable and cable adjuster keeps it from moving keep on riding.
When im on the throttle i dont hear it anyway

It sounds like the front of the engine. Im putting it back together ,with a new cable and adjuster. With a fresh oil change.

I haven't found any thing suspicious in the oil or in the bottom of the front cover. Is there anywhere else to look for fileings or pieces of metal?
I just want to thank everyone for your suggestion.

The oil filter media and the 2 strainers on the sump floor.

It could be the clutch pressure plate bearing. Rare but have seen them go.
You want to spin the plate on the bearing on your finger and you will hear/feel a roughness or grittiness if it's going.

When you put it back together could you freely spin the lifter piece? How much in out play was on that lifter piece?

Lifter piece is #24 on photo, once you torque plate screws that lifter piece has to be free spinning and in/out 2 to 3mm of free travel, if not, bike will creep forward with clutch lever pulled in. If the lifter piece is tight, undo clutch parts and re assemble making sure no extra judders or anything out of place, the washers the wavy washer, if you used suzuki or barnett stuff the pack is a little bigger and affects that lifter piece, you can do away with the washer at pressure plate and lifter piece, but the lifter piece is critical. I see supercharged so you probably already use the 50mm long basket bolts.
