Good day eh! Looking for help , trying to find some parts and hopeing someone can give me ideas and help figureing out my problem.
I have a very distinct noise when decelerating. It is difficult to explain the noise. Its not a grinding noise, not chattering, but more of a low pitch growling noise.
 
As i am looking at the manual ,i see that i need to replace the belleville washer and the plain washer, also the thrust washer. Anyone know where i can find these.
 
Does the noise go when you pull in the clutch lever while decelerating?
 
Im trying to remember. I think not but do remember as i come to a stop i can feel a surge or as if the clutch isnt fully engaged. Its not overpowering , i can easily hold it back with my legs. Almost like the clutch is slipping. It doesnt make the noise when stopped.

Might have more than one issue.
The 2nd being the clutch dragging a bit. Is the clutch cable adjusted to 2-3mm free play, as per manual?
This is very important. E.g. 4mm will not do.

if you check this and find it needed adjustment, best go for a spin after and see what impact it had.
Also verify if the noise changes or goes away when decelerating in gear and pull clutch lever in.

If noise remains then it could be from the trans e.g. output bearing given age of your motor.

Can't think of a good thread off hand, but from memory the bearing on the torsional damper was installed backwards from factory. So the oil couldn't get into it to lube it.
If you do a search for output or torsional damper bearing you should find info.
There's an update kit you can buy but it's only really the bearing you need iirc.
I did my 06 engine a good few years ago, would have to dig through detailed files.

Before going any further would you be able to determine if the noise is from the front or back of the engine?
Presume it's on the left side anyway. Tha's clutch (front), trans (middle) and torsional damper output (rear).
 
b4 tearing apart the back of the motor apart check the easy stuff first.
i would check out the final drive
put in neutral and rotate the wheel, check final drive (it can be black without problem) fluid and the little magnet for metal.
maybe run it in 2nd gear off the ground
 
Is the clutch pack original? You mentioned clutch grabbing and you could hold with your legs. This seems clutch is out, sounds worn.
