I do not have that shield. I have had the pleasure of once having a LaminarLip on my Roadster Screen. The recurve up lift of the LameLip was quite uplifting. But the **** thin let loose at 100+ and **** near took my head off. And they want 1/2 price replacement cost:flame:
I'm quite enticed by this lastest offering from Clearview. Wth the adjustable mid screen vent that would be quite nice with more air lift, on a Roadster height screen.
The aero dynamics of the LameLip was right-on. The attachment means sukt! 3M!
I feel the recurve on the new Clearview might add near 1-2" airlift over the Roadster height screen. The LaminarLip was a mighty fine idea; without adding much more height; though achieving greater lift. An integrated riser lamelip onto a clearview might be a pregnant idea.
I have the Clearview 19" with the recurve. It does a fine job of deflecting the wind.
I only get a little buffeting at speeds above 60. More so if I'm riding into the wind or get a crosswind. But I'd get that effect no matter what shield I had.
I paid just under $200 shipped for my screen.
I have the 7" over Clearview with the recurve. I am 6'1" and the top of the shield was in my sight path. I made a couple brackets out of SST that moves the top mount back 1". This lays the shield back so I look completely over it, and the wind is kicked up over my head. The sloped back look is also an improvement.
I have been thinking of a new shield. I get a lot of helmet buffeting with my full face and the stock shield. I would like to get something that doesn't make me see double going down the road.
