Thanks for sharing this info ,I am only a "bush" mechanic but have a basic knowledge of electrics having been the victim of Mr Lucas "the prince of darkness " on earlier British bikes ,but never thought of putting a basic multimeters or a test light  in the bike tool kit ,a good tip :thumbsup:
