Here are some photos of my recently fitted CES headers & collector pipe. RWHP is 156.
What filters are u Running ? I'm getting 150 hp 156 ft lbs torque with staintunes and triple RU-2780 K&N filters with my headers but I'm about to change to Ces headers with reband muffler and RX4040-1 K&N filters
Ramair filter.
RWHP is not final though, this is only a quick dynotune on a PCIII. That curve obviously still lacks perfection, so I will have the ECU dynotuned. Anyway, at 6700 I got an unbelievable 50hp+ out of this!
Red curve is not stock either (Ramair + TORs + Tuneecu) thus showing 139 already.
I think the CES headers will be a big improvement for yours as well.

The third photo shows the way I will deal with the heat, by fitting another stock chrome cover into the opposite direction. Should work perfectly fine in terms of heat, though it will obstruct the view of the headers a little bit. Will post a pic when it's done.
2 1/4 inch design. Big outlet that would fit the CES muffler as well.
Getting back to the original topic, I would think that the CES headers and a custom collector pipe would be a great fit on a Touring, as well. They would probably make the fat lady jump!
They do not burn my leg on the highway peg, in fact I tend to let my leg cool out, up there. What's really getting hot is the ankle on the regular footpeg.
I love the look you got there keeping that original shielding. Ill probably order identical kit to yours.. (is yours exhaust still on both sides? i see the pipe running to the other side)

No, this is the result of adding CES headers plus the crossover pipe, with a tune.
Big headers 2 1/4 inch version with big outlet, like the ones you get when you order the full system! The crossover finally tightens up to fit the dual TORs mufflers.
These look like the TORs for the R3T to me.
I am using TORs for the R3R (Roadster model). I am not aware if there are any major differences. There are TORs for the earlier Rocket models with 2 pipes on one side and 1 on the other side, as well.
Generally speaking, TORs are Triumph's own offroad mufflers with slightly better flow and deeper sound.
