I'm thinking about a Cee Bailey's windshield...

Buuut. They don't come with hardware, but mention that one fits a 7 hole bracket and the other fits a 9 hole bracket. Are these Triumph bracket kits, and where would I get them?

I'm looking at the 2" under, but am open to other options. Haven't ruled out the MRA Roadshield from Twisted Throttle, or a National Cycle Deflector. I had one on a CB1000 that worked well for a cheap shield, but not sure I want to compromise that much.

I appreciate all the great wisdom and advice on this site, thanks.

You'll need to find a windshield on eBay or some other source for cheap and get the bracket from that screen. You cannot buy it otherwise. You can find them if you really keep after it. There was a cracked screen a month or so ago that was buy now for $100 that would have been perfect.

If you need the bracket off the screen, don't you also need the "fixing kit"? You'd think if Cee Bailey sold everything you need to mount one of their screens, they'd sell a lot more of them.... I'd like to avoid a hardware scavenger hunt if I can!

As an alternative - there is a National Cycle screen that will fit onto the R3 with very little modification. iirc it's the one for a Suzuki M109R2 - maybe somebody can confirm. The pictures I've seen look really good.

I've ended up with an extra screen / bracket plus two extra front end fixing kits. Let me know if you are still looking. Got a Cee Bailey's but not for sure on the quality till it gets here.

An extra Cee Bailey's? Reg, Tall, Short? I might be interested, if I can make a deal for everything I need.

I believe it measures 24" wide and at least 25" tall from between headlights. I have front end fixing kit too. I'll take some pics and send them to you when the second one actually gets in my possession.
