Carpenter Racing (seriously considering the 240 hp upgrade package)

Um, maybe in Harley shops, but Carpenter builds Hyabusas and such that go to 14,000, so that doesn't make sense.
I mean on the rockets that they do. They set the rev limit at 9000 rpm but the dyno readouts for their rockets they stop at around 8000 rpm.

I don't know what the tune looks like, but it pulls hard all the way to 9000. In 3rd gear that pushed the needle past 140 mph, and in 4th I only went to 8500 rpms, but it was still climbing fast.
Your dyno graph only goes to 8000 tho. So how are they tuned to run to 9000. That's what I can't work out.

@Steel how many miles since the upgrade? And was the trip home on the bike quicker than the flight to Carpenter?

A little over 1800 miles since the upgrade. The trip home was a little slower since law enforcement frowns heavily on those speeds on the highway. Plus I was taking in the sights.

I have a wee bit over 7000 miles on my Stage one and it is running like a top. Can't wait for Maggie Valley
As for the power commander stuff I am no expert but if the map carries the fuel settings after 7000 maybe he made the extra fuel adjustments on the tune boy map. It hard to say there is a higher rpm map for the older rocket ecu's in PCV it goes to 20250 rpms. I am not sure about the new ecu's and the PCV maps for them. To be honest mine has been running so good I just turn the key and go

Oh I also must admit I miss the power of the blower added to Bobs goodies. I need to get on the falcon but I got side tracked and tore her down even further once I found a bad fork tube. Now she is in dry dock being used as a prototype for my next modification.

Ah, I thought you meant the dyno could only spin to 8000

SO you say that's not a workable combination for street riding and not practical

I'd really like to see the dyno sheet on that.
