You forgot to mention you were riding a Harley and i was riding a rocket, i still remeber your words when we stopped at Monarch Pass and you were trying to keep up with the Harley wide open; "You sumbiches need to remember that i'm missing one cylinder"

Under 2000 rpm, maybe up to 2500 or so, there is definitely less torque than stock. Not that it's weak, but it's easy to stall out if you accidentally start in a higher gear, where stock it wouldn't. It's just the way torque and horsepower work.

First off - the Dragon is 11 miles NOT 20+!
I can hardly believe that you actually think riding twisties is more dangerous than drag racing!
Only a true DUMBO would present that time ("over in seconds") and distance ("less than ¼ mile") are "much safer".
If you can, attempt to consider the acceleration forces generated by the extreme speeds attained in such a short time!
Just because you prefer riding a straight line does NOT make you opinions correct.
If there was EVER a "DUMBO" on this website - look in your mirror!

This applies not only to the first personal comment but also to those who feel compelled to take it upon themselves to moderate other's behavior. Its all unacceptable. OK CHUNKO lets be nice from now on I cant believe you cant see the obvious dangers racing down an 11 mile twisty road with a bunch of other maniacs Ive been on those rides and have lost 4 friends so you cant tell me anything about it I know better

That there is the funniest thing I have read today, come on Lupe don't be so Modest you ride very well and dont waste the edges of your tyres, I didn't see no chicken strips there, we had some fun coming back from Preston (I think that the name where your friend lives)
