I posted under accessories, lots of views no opinions so thought I'd try it here.

Looking to get carbon fiber heat shields etc to dress up my 2024 Rocket 3R.

I see a wide variation in pricing ranging from very inexpensive to very expensive (Zard).

Seems like a ggod option is Motocomposites , Motorcycle Carbon Fiber and Performance Parts - Motocomposites Inc..

They offer choice of weaves and also matte vs glossy.

Anybody with carbon fiber experience care to share their thoughts as far as how to choose a manufacturer?

One thing I did learn is there are a lot of cheap carbon fiber parts which in reality are fiberglass.

Appreciate any and all input.

Stay safe

I have a lot of Motocomposite's stuff on my Speed Triple. Rear hugger, chain guard, heel guards, tank infills, radiator shrouds, etc, and it all fits like OEM and usually they have fast turnaround. I did have to wait on one piece as they were out of stock when I ordered it and they offered the same unit in a different finish that they had in stock, otherwise they said I would have to wait up to 8 weeks. I responded to wait and they shipped that piece in 3 weeks and it was top shelf like all the other stuff. Some of the pieces I purcHased from Motocomposites:

Thank you, I appreciate the information.Looks like i'm gonna go with moto composite

I got my pieces from CarbonFBR. Very happy with them so far. They're real CF, and the heat shields have reflective metal on the back.

3rd vote for CarbonFBR as I have bought a bunch of bits and Jacques is responsive if there are issues, and I have found them among the cheapest so far for real carbon. He will also do different weaves and colours should you want it.

fully agree with you on this one gadget, I also have been using Carbon FBR for a few years now and have quite a few bits, highly recommend them.

I bought the radiator cowls, cap covers, inlet cover and heat guards from AliExpress and they were half the price and amazing quality.

I got a new Carbon fibre from mud guard for sale if interested, I bought it to replace a damaged front mud guard on mine but ended up getting a replacement original as I would have only the Red on the tank otherwise.
