Can not believe the new 2008 Turing Rocket

If you are tall, big person, I don't see how you could like anything else but the touring model. This is the first bike I haven't put highway pegs on the crash bars.

I love the R3T Elvis, but as a tall, big person (6'7", 300lbs), I'd have to say that my legs really get cramped after an hour and I'm in desperate need of highway pegs, but they still haven't arrived out here is OZ 5 months after purchase...Getting bloody frustrated.
Funny how everyone's different (how tall are you ?)
Pete

I am 6'3" with a 34" inseam, personally I like the Kurakyn highway pegs better than Triumph as I wear a 13EE and the Triumph pegs are way to narrow. I was at a Triumph store in Indianapolis not two months ago and they had pegs in stock.

When I get the risers installed it will be perfect as I do detect some fatique in my neck after 4 hours of riding.

Elvis when you do get the risers installed could you let me know how you like them and what was involved? I'm 6'2" and can't decide if I want to go that route, I'd like to hear how it works out for you.

to install the risers on the r3t all you have to do is re-route the clutch cable to behind the forks and take down and install the new ones

After I saw the price, I decided to wait, $169 is almost enough to get you an episode on Law and Order SVU

I've put myself in the same boat ... right at 20k spent on the bike overall and coincidentally my investments are down right at 20k too.Pretty soon people are going to start selling off their toys ... Rockets might start getting real cheap real soon.

I just ordered the risers. I hope that the 2" pullback is enough. I had 4" on my last bike which was real nice. If the Rivco risers aren't enough I may have to look into different bars. **** it, more money I don't have.

R3t

I'm a soon to be 58 year old American and I agree. I've got an '09 touring and it's the greatest. FYI, the engine is exactly the same as the Regular Rocket cam timing and all. I've been assured by my dealer it can be tuned to the Regular Rocket H.P. and more, so I'm good with the added comfort and the fact that my wife will now ride with me on my cycle. Happy motoring! Marty.

Engine Specs,

You sure about that?
Yep, My dealer Randy Baxter told me this and I also researched it in the Triumph technical manual. HP reduction is ALL in the ECU.
Marty.
Initially I had thought about buying a new Roadster an putting touring accessories on it till I talked to Randy.
