If price at the point of purchase is the most important factor, then China has market leverage, but they only appear to be able to compete by riding on the backs of the west's designs....so it's a huge from me.

Will their durability and quality ever surpass the western product......Possibly. At some point. I suppose it depends on whether the west lowers it's quality and originality in order to compete on price....which has been happening to some extent.

Chinese can get the "look" but the quality of materials and finish are sub subpar. I'd rather walk than ride on anything built in China.
