Triumph rocket 3 TFC
Hi, I have a Triumph Rocket 3 TFC, I have flashed the ECU via TuneECU software & remapped the bike. As a consequence of doing this two fault codes have arisen. One was for cruise control which I have now sorted, the other is P0315 crankshaft relearn. I've tried looking on the internet YouTube to see if there are videos of step by step procedures of clearing this code using TuneECU. Unfortunately I cannot find a single video showing the step by step procedure.
Can anyone help me?

Crankshaft not camshaft sorry

You should be able to just clear the fault with TuneECU. If it's a real problem (not a glitch) it'll come back on (fault code), Then it's manual time and investigate what it takes to clear the actual problem.

Hi, the code does not clear away. I need to know the procedure using TuneECU on how to sort code P0315 crankshaft position relearn. Any idea?

Here is an idea.

Here is what your friendly AI says:

The P0315 code indicates that the crankshaft position system variation has not been learned. To fix this code on a Triumph Rocket 3, you can try the following steps:
  1. Select Crankshaft Position Adaption and click Start
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions
  3. When the adaption is complete, click Finish and turn off the motorcycle's ignition switch
  4. Wait at least 60 seconds for the motorcycle's electronic system to power down
  5. Turn the ignition switch back on and check that the P0315 code and the MIL have clear

Hi thank you for that, it's perfect. The only problem I've got is that I don't have a crankshaft position adaptation option on that screen section. Any ideas?? I'm totally baffled!!!!!

I believe the tfc the flagship of the rocket line, came with a very special tune i hope you saved it. Have you changed the exhaust? How bout a picture so we can see what youve done to the piece of art for ourselves 😂? But no, picture 🧐

Hi thanks for your reply, my tfc is totally the same as from the factory, so all standard pictures out there are the same as mine, but will put one on here at some point. Haven't got round to changing the rear pipes yet but will put on some werks pipes at some point.
This is the first time for me with regards to remapping & NO like an idiot I didn't save the original map. I used penners map through TuneECU and the TuneECU software doesn't appear to give me the option for crankshaft sensor relearning. Do you have any idea how I can sort the crankshaft sensor relearn thingy?

Theres a thread on your issue i believe that says solved, cant go wrong with a penner map but loosing your tune a real bummer, as you change things you may wanna keep all the tfc prts.
