bypass with stock pipes

Hi, does anyone know if stock pipe's will fit triumph's cat bypass.
Triumph's web site implies that it only fit with TOR pipes. :?:

They will work with stock... Did it for 1.5 years...

Yes they fit. I suspect it's a legal statement, not a technical one. Otherwise you would appear to have road-legal pipes but there is no catalytic converter. TORs are stamped as not certified for road use.

There is an official Triumph tune for this set-up (stocks + cat by-pass) which you should get installed when you buy the by-pass.

Yes mate. Ran mine like that for two years.The local dealer put the triumph tune in it for me as well.Also on standard pipes theres hardly any noise differance.
