But it's a dry heat..

Dey heat...ha..
I was Chief Accountant at the Prescott VA some years ago and had to go down to the infamous Phoenix VA for a meeting in the middle of tue summer. Thought I was going to melt, dry heat my axx

Prescott was MUCH nicer.

I too had to go to a meeting in Phoenix in the middle of the summer. We had one guy go out to his car and he sank into the pavement. We never saw him again.

Spent some time in Phoenix last year when it was 117°.
It was indeed a hot dry heat; but, it was way more comfy for me and the wife than here in Washington when temp is in the high 80's to low 90's! High, hot humidity kicks my butt.

Oh come on, we all know it rains 364 days out of the year up there. And on that 1 day, it's still drizzling. (I still got my web feet from growing up outside Eugene and Vancouver)

... I know what you mean humidity can be rough, I still miss the Great Northwest though

True story-
A past employee who lives in the Phoenix area told me about a man who ran outside to catch the postman. Unfortunately he wasn't wearing any shoes and ended up with 2nd and 3rd degree burns on the bottom of his feet.
Now that would hurt!

Made me wonder about household pets who go outside in the summer.

Now imagine somebody riding in shorts and a t-shirt and having the misfortune to end up on the asphalt. I've seen it, and it ain't pretty.

I've had an Alaskan Malamute and currently have a Norwegian Elkhound. Both have handled Phoenix summers just fine. Of course a dog door is mandatory, as is plenty of shade, water, and grass.

I don't believe it for one second, I just met you and you are no shabby old man. Not with that firm hand shake and long tall walk... You got at least two more decades of riding to do brother!

@Boog
I'm thinking about selling my V2K.
Would you come shake my hand and lie to me that I am not old???
