Here is the E-Max with the grove and the G852 without taken right from the Bridgestone website. Not sure what the performance difference is.

I ordered the Emax from Rocky mountain atv also and it looks like that too, no groove.

Something is not adding up. Last two E-Max's ordered no groove.

Is this an 'old' stock issue and the newer design or maybe the other way around?? Just tried google and there are 2 versions, 1 with centre groove and 1 without. Both seem to have the same name and ratings but the G852 is called the Variant G...????

Mine is new. Made the 28th week of 2018.
