Bridgestone exedra max

Been running the max/Avon combo and love it, but both need replaced on mine at about 7500 miles....granted I'm hard on the tires and it's not the centers that are too worn

I believe that I was the very first here to run the B'stone Exedra Max 240/55 VR16 and it seems that the vast majority who have done the same believe it to be the best overall rear tire currently available for our Beasts in that size. Better geometry (a little extra height improves handing and the slightly taller aspect ratio cures the nearly 7% speedo deviation on older models), longer life (10-20% better, all depending) and lowest price among competing products from all other major manufacturers make it a win-win-win.

Been running the exedra max 240/55 vr16 on the rear of my last two Roadsters now and close to putting my 3rd one on...great tyre.
I have a cobra on the front now after the metz 880 but interested in the new 888 metz which will be on our shores mid november...they do have a very good review....I dont think anyone makes a 'bad' tyre....just what suits your riding style and roads best.
 
That would be great. Except the dealers around here do not keep the tire in stock. They want you to make an appointment to change the tire. They want to charge up to $80 to replace the rear tire even when I brought the wheel in without the bike. They do not have enough common sense to put balancing beads inside the tire without contaminating the wheel bearings. You'll get your wheel back with dirty fingerprints all over it and maybe even a scratch or two. If they go out of business it's no lost. The dealer where I bought my Tbird is no longer a Triumph dealer. After having dealings with them In would say it's no great loss.
