Did not see the video. Thanks for posting. My info came from the horses mouth. A friend of mine is a Harley mechanic at one of the major dealerships here in Oklahoma.
Sub 1000cc bikes have always been the best selling segment for motorcycles, downside is it is also the lowest profit margin big bikes big bucks more profit cheaper bikes equals less profit, even Triumphs prices are creeping up check the prices on the new Thruxtons and bonnies,
The Rocket does not make Triumph much as it is a niche bike as is not to many sold.
Just my own personal opinion, Mike, but I find virtually all Harleys to be significantly overpriced, underpowered slugs, which do not, again, just my own 2 cents worth here, do not justify their pricetags. Every time I've ridden a Harley, other than their late V-Rod, I find myself looking down at the motor to determine why it feels broken with all their shaking and distinct lack of giddyup.
Beautiful to behold, love their distinct potato-potato exhaust note, however such cosmetic or topical attributes hardly overcome their largely antiquated and anemic motors or their overpricing.
