Brand new Rocket 3 transmission issue

Ah, but I'd rather have a Rocket instead of my B-King. That's the point, sonny. I know they're different types of bikes. I test rode a Rocket Roadster a few years ago in London, and I REALLY liked it.

Yes you do want a rocket over a b King. The b king may make more power but the rocket puts it to the ground much better and also handles better!

I believe the B-King is at the very top when it comes to performance. Top of its class. I had the opportunity to ride one once and was very impressed with how it handled. Very well made and impressed with the power. Just not my cup of tea.

Yes, Jag. I thought the R3 delivered its power really well. And it handled surprisingly well, but I wouldn't say it handles better than the B-King. I also value its complete reliability which is why I've been reading this board.

Sonny, it probably is top of its class, but I ride it a bit like a cruiser, so a Rocket 3 would suit me better. I remember when I rode one, being very surprised at how manageable the weight is. It is carried so low.

When in doubt buy a low mile used model for $6-7K and ride the snot out of it.

Not saying b king handles bad but I would lay money on the r3 ability to lay over further in a turn. If you put a smaller tire on the front she turns in even more and easier.

I dont have mine anymore but I would buy it, it's worth owning one in your life time. I loved my 2012 Roadster! It never ever gave me any problems, it was a good solid bike.

i had a b/king for 5 years, done everything possible to it,handling wise power wise,186 bhp rear wheel bhp,not the usual bul**** numbers neither, sad to say the rocket will not out do it .
i still keep intouch and ride with b/king mates,i like the rocket but its no b/king.

Are you comparing apples to oranges ?

Have you tried your B-King against @Trirocket3 ? Only then could you say you've compared two bikes "done everything possible to it".

Meanwhile, have fun. Anything on two wheels with a motor is to be enjoyed in its own right.

ricochet, why did you sell your Rocket?
