Steve, I don't think the bit of change I made will make a large difference at the flange. Or, I certainly hope it doesn't!
I am definitely happy with the results so far. This picture could not have been done with old kickstand unless I parked on the left side of the road. I prefer to park where people expect to see me.
I may start packing a kickstand pad for the possible instance of too much lean.. or too loose sand/gravel/etc.
I will keep everyone informed of any issues.
