i think that stand is ok...when youre riding on the left as we do, you park on the left hand side of the road with the front of the bike heading to about 11 oclock...the stand is fine then. For you guys who ride on the right hand side of the road, you probably park with the front of the bike pointing to about 5 past so the stand is on the uphill side....maybe Triumph should consider this when making the stands and have two lengths to choose from.

The kickstand has bothered me since I bought the bike. Always having to be careful on where I park. Sometimes have to move the bike around to get a better lean.
I finally bit the rather expensive bullet and did something about it.
Bought an EOM kickstand, then had it cut down and welded back together by a reputable shop that knows aluminum.
Just put on the shortened kickstand yesterday, so not a lot of experience with it yet. But I do like the added lean.
The only "issue" is that the pad on the kickstand doesn't contact the bumper on the muffler completely, but enough to serve the purpose.
