bike is running VERY lean

ok thunderbike pipes with the 54 tune. bike pops like a motha and the manifold actually turned red on me today. is there anyotehr tune that would be better or is the only thing i can do is a pcIII or a tuneboy? now reguarding the tuneboy could any dyno guy take care of it for me? thanks

now that is with the stock tuneboy 50 tune and no other dyno tuning? i have been reading what you guys are talking about but it is a bit technical and i do not fully understand it all. i read the tuneboy site and even have trouble understanding everything they are saying. also if i did go with the tuneboy how would i go about getting it dynoed? pretty sure nobody around me have really heard of it never mind knows how to use it? could any dynojet person do it? i know the site mentioned about te dynojet tuneing computer working with the tuneboy but i did not fully understand how it was explained. just trying to figure out the best and easiest way to go.

the bike has really plenty of power. i just did not like how the pipes turned red. my main concern is not to hurt the motor with the lean running. but you say the tuneboy stock tune will fix it. so when it comes down to it the tuneboy is easy to use?

Getting full power in 1/2/3 is not the same as a dyno tune-and it never will be. It is just Triumph's factory 4/5 ignition-fuel map in 1/2/3.

Will you see an increase in power? Hell Yes. But, you will still benefit from a dyno tune-even with a map with similar mods...
