Best way to trailer an R3T

Thanks for all the input instead of risking a multi thousand dolar accident I found an adjuster screw at the Honda shop however the cable does not go on to the screw it's a bit too small but I managed to set some tention on the cable using it I will atempt to use this to ride up there either Wednesday morning before work or on thursday when I am off again either way it looks like it will work for the time being

Again thanks

I chose to get mine up to and back from SC in an enclosed trailer for the holidays. important to secure the kick stand side 1st then the other side so when you tighten the other side 1st it will not land on self . Something I picked up from guys who do it for a living.

..............Because once it starts to fall over, it gets REAL heavy REAL fast.

A few years ago

A few years ago I bought a specialty nylon handle bar sock that slips over the handle bars and has loops to attach your straps, it worked great on my Valkyries but I haven't used it on the Rocket. If you are going a long way and have a wood floor trailer I would nail 2"X4" tire rails on each side of both tires and have 4 tie down contact points and like every one else said make sure you pull down enough to squeeze the shocks some so the straps stay tight. Be sure a check them after the first 50 miles and then everytime you fill up.

well I went ahead and purchased 8 straps 4 with a 1200 limit and 4 with a 900 limit as well as 2 soft straps for the bars. hopefully with 8 straps I will be ok I will take it slow
Good god! Eight friggin straps Yeah, maybe 6 if using two to secure the wheels, to prevent wheel hop in lieu of chocks.

all in all I have the bike running fine and in good enough shape to get it up there to get the 5$ part put on
