Is it worth buying in the US? I'm in Toronto. It seems you usually get a better price in the US. Anything to be careful of? I saw 2 dealers not too far from Buffalo, one in Akron and another in Canandaigua.

I'm not sure of the leagal technicalities involved, but I know that my dealer has sold Triumph motorcycles and Can-Am ATVs (!) to people from Canada. And we're a long way from the border. I guess sometimes there is enough difference in price to make it worthwhile?

The guys at Buck's in Akron are great I spend 3-4 days a week in Buffalo let me know if you need any help I stay about 15 minutes from them

with the can dollar near par it is now interesting to shop stateside. but remember to fax the bill of sale and title front and back to the us border office you intend to cross at least 72 hrs in advance or you will be fined ($ 500.) and held for three days in the US . then you pay your GST on the canadian side plus federal inspection and out of province inspection and you are good to go!!
