Best headlight upgrade?

Like to learn what this "connector" difference is from the 2.3 to 2.5?
 
It looks like a 6 pin connector now. I can see now where the headlight bezel could be an issue. Also the change in the design since they went to LEDs. It doesn't look like it will be a simple plug and play with any of the standard replacement headlights now.

From what I remember from long ago posts, it requires a different ( bezel, escutcheon?), the trim ring around the front, that's deeper, as it protrudes more. A Harley item, maybe?
 
The bezel clearly looks different. Not sure if I have the time want to spend the money to mod it.
