Has anyone made a Belly Pan?

The stock ones look like an afterthought and don't seem to take into account the shaped form of the engine and for me it appears way too small and disproportionate to the engine size.

Considering I'm changing the aesthetics of my Rocket to look more liker a customised Mad Max type Cafe Racer, I was thinking about making one out of aluminium and pop riveting it to encompass the aircraft look, then polish it.

Apologies to Evilbob who makes them, it's not the look I'm after.

Any thoughts?

Bloke wittled one out of plywood a long time ago .. seriously he did. His name was .. Cane Corso or something like that.

i assume that the ridges on the pan are for strength and cooling i would build it to pull air over the pan.

Wouldn't be too hard to form one up out of thin balsa and fibreglass the final shape.
Done this a few times with making consoles for my 4by
