Aux lights electrical issue?

They're allegedly 15w each, so using DC watts to amps, that's about 1.25 amps each. I'm using them mainly as daylight marker lamps and I've already fitted a 40w LED headlight unit, so total draw through ignition is roughly 5.8 amps if my math is correct.

Is that too much?

As I recall the connector for the Aux lights is under the gas tank. After my aux lights died I took them off and used that connector to power a set of Photon Blaster lights by Skene Lights. Had no issues.

Has anyone got a picture or diagram where to find the Accessory Light Connector. Cannot find it. Tank up, neck covers off, looking high & low. There are two other connectors in there (3 Pin Heated Grips - Blue, Black & Purple) and another 2 wire one which is Black & Purple, which is either the Accessories Socket or GPS Connection.

Cannot find the bloody thing

I had another look under the tank today and after a lot of searching & digging about I eventually found the correct 3 way connector!

It was well hidden under the main loom on the right hand side about half way along the tank.

Found it! Lights are connected and working fine.

After searching & reading heaps of threads. Thanks to Dyngoo from his thread back in July 2015.
