Attention Grabber

There are always bigger faster bikes or cars. My bike has 5735 cc's, 350 cu inches and 400 horsepower. It shares the garage with my Rocket 3. I have a 175cc KAWASAKI that I keep at my house in the Philippines, its considered big over there. My girlfriend and I use it to go to the beaches and mountains. Just a fact that some bikes are bigger, faster, slower, etc. They're all fun. I like it when some people are in shock when they see the Chopper but to me after 6 years its not such a mind blower anymore. Its human nature for many of us to want the biggest, fastest, rarest or whatever, in the end it doesn't make us as an individual any better or any worse.

dickhead

Funny, I was at the local biker bar, Indian Falls Log Cabin, it's usually 50 Harleys, and me. I pulled in next to a kid leaving, he had an old school Yamaha 650 twin chopper/bobber rat bike, it was army green, black wrapped 18" straight pipes, as old school as you can get, I told him that's a cool bike, I really like it, boy you could tell it made his day, the ear to ear grin was worth a million dollars, it's nice to make someone's day.

The range of Harley guys there is amazing, from weekend warriors that try to duckwalk their bikes at anything under 10 miles an hour, to guys with snow white pony tails in their 70s who I see make 2 mph full lock U turns in the parking lot, and say D*mn, they been riding a while.

Love the use of 'duckwalk' and '2mph U turns' in your post Tripp. Pisd miself

I know that feeling you should try it with a rocket trike

I remember in my younger bikey(sp) days, when we'd all be sitting around drinking beer (or whatever) with our feet propped up, sooner or later we'd all start scrutinizing who had most worn boot soles. Invariably, it would be those who were either foot draggers (Mexican) or duck walkers and the teasing would begin..

Fine looking chopper. Can't figure out the front suspension.. Is that rigid?
