asking the pros

Hey Redd, I'm no "Pro" either, but here are my 2 cents worth.
Make sure the dealer you buy from has some knowledge about this bike.
Some sell it and are absolutely CLUELESS! If you love modifying your bike, this
one doesn't get much support from the aftermarket. This is a very comfortable ride
and it's very unique. I've gone on poker runs with 2 to 3 hundred other bikes and I
was the only R3T there, so they do get gawked at a bit. The later model years come
with more goodies from the factory. My 2008 was the first year and just had bags and
shield. I could go on but read thru the Touring section of the forum and you will find a
lot of great info. Ride safe -Dan

I love my 09 Rocket Touring even though it bucked me off a couple of weeks ago. Treat it with respect and I think you will be very pleased with the Rocket.

Be careful because once you ride the Rocket it kinda ruins it for all other bikes. (cruisers/tourers). We have a couple Harley dlrs by me that have leased some space to triumph.. man, all the harleys look the same, I told myself I was getting a new triumph with this money I set aside but I enjoy my 06 standard so much I can't figure it out.
