Well guys/gals...I am now less than a week (5 days?) away hopping onto my new Rocket III Touring and riding off into the sunset. I have not ridden my Harley since the day I saw that new 2014 machine being put together in the servicing area of D&D Cycles (about 5 weeks ago) and will not be riding it again until I take it to D&D's to trade it in. The final part of the money should come together on Wednesday and then I'll be in that final stretch. I will be taking, hopefully, a half day off on Friday to go down to sign the papers.
It will be fantastic to be riding with the family of beast riders by Saturday.
It'll be great to be a part of the Triumph Rocket III riding experience again.
hey molino, congrats! the anticipation of picking up a new bike is a kind of high for sure! i drove to denver in july 04 to pick up this red rocket beast i ordered 4 months earlier, and i was kind of worked up!! never seen one other than pictures of course. sometimes bikes look better in the flesh, and sometimes not! so i walk into the showroom, and there she was, lookin **** good and oh the relief! they said, this is only the second we have gotten. fun day for sure and the rest is history!!!!
Congrats Dennis! You are a very patient man!!
As far as riding your Harley, i rode mine last week on Route66, hosted 4 Spanish girls at my house for 2 weeks and they wanted some pics on the Route before they went back to Spain, they were very happy about the ride and the pictures!
