Another Exhaust

What is the purpose of a forward exhaust exit other than to look different?
Would it impede flow at high speed?

Looks like he wanted to keep the rear end as open as possible?
 
Sorry, I can´t tell you much about why and how.
I got the Rocket the way it is.
My job is just to find some hp.

Ulf, I am going to bet a stock header with your crossover and cans will produce more power. There are a lot of turns in there.
 
I would love to see where the rider is supposed to put his feet. I love the idea for turbo applications. but instead of exhaust make the left side tubing to an intercooler.

The difference is about 15hp.
I did not make a real accurate map, as we will do a lot of motorwork from now on and this was just a little test of what i can expect from the exhaust.
