And then there were TWO!

I can only go off of what I see at the local dealer, but they had a Classic that sat there for months and months. I was there the day they finally sold it. The guy that bought it kept pinging me with questions. OTOH, the "Touring" (Tourer doesn't exist and hasn't for a couple of years) models don't hang around too long. I have no data on the Standard because I've never seen one in there. Does that mean they sell as soon as they get them or do they just not get many? I don't know the answer.

Dave,

I just called my friend. He said it was there the other day. It was sitting at the one at the foot of the bridge in Shalimar. It's in the front with a for sale sign on it. I saw one on Craigslist for $10,500. There was another on there a couple of months ago, but he wanted crazy money; $18K I think

The bike at ECFU was not a repo I was talking to the guy a couple of weeks ago he also had it on e-bay(do not know if he sold it) It was a 2008 10000miles and a bunch of extras (way over 2 grand worth)selling it because his wife does not like it so he was going back to HD.

Travelguy, I checked back 15 pages of threads in the www.gl1800riders.com site and couldn't find it...but I did do a google search under "Honda Evo concept" and a bunch of links came up. I checked the first one by Cycle World and that was the one pictured in the Gold Wing site. Unfortunately, it comes with the HFT (Human Friendly Transmission) so it is in effect an automatic, but it does look different and it has basically the same 1800cc engine as in the GW.

However, if I go for a new bike it will have to be the new Gold Wing (if it does change significantly...engine, HP, torque, features) or I may have to paint a Triumph Roadster a different color.

nice one skip... actually have been learning alot.. well think i have anyway.. bike rads are nothing like car rads.. there are parameters that you have to stay in.. more volume, more surface area etc is not always the answer... but i sure am getting close.. up side is the "new" design i think you will like.. more zoomie
