AN UNEXPECTED NEW HELMET

I almost bought a Sportmodular myself. Couldn't find one to try and was not putting out the $850 before trying it.

Good buy my friend!

Amen on that bro!
I looked at it as divine motor intervention, my being at the right place (HUGE store) at the right time.
I feel this helmet runs a little small. Definitely either try one on before you buy or shop Revzilla where exchanges are easy and free!

The AGV looks good Steve. I guess Schuberth isn't the only overly price lid available.

Tis all in what you want, Bill.
I wanted to try a modular, so decided to start at the top. Reckon I'd get to the best one sooner and cheaper from the top.
This is my second spendy lid (Schuberth being the other). To my experience they have been the best made and most comfy for daily long rides.

I hear you, been riding with this the last few months and the lightness makes such a difference, comes in at about 1250g. Be hard to go back to heavier lid now

I love my Nolan N44. Its not as nice as either of the ones you mentioned, but I am a late in life believer in a good helmet. No more cheepos for me. Hey, I just got a check in the mail, maybe a new Schuberth????

I almost bought a Schuberth this time last year. Researched them, thought they were quietest ones for the money. Found one for around 500. The O'l lady said my head wasn't worth 2 bucks, let alone 500. Gotta stick with the cheap stuff. My Bell lid comes open at 120, 130. I will be looking for a good deal on an outdated one. Glad ya got a good one. Also glad you didn't get hurt. Ya a$$ might hurt on the walet side for a bit, but cheaper than another surgery. Bring it to MV
