I received a message last week from an Irishman from Aussie whom I had never met but had to via another forum. He was coming to my hometown and could we meet...
Long story short...here we are at the local dealers on Saturday morning...what a great couple he and his good lady are...he took my Roadster for a short lap of the block after I insisted...loved it.
They spent the week travelling around the "South Island" and we met up again on Thursday night and had a meal b4 they went back home on Friday morning.
Some of the Aussies on this forum might recognise Derm...loves his bikes and rides a Storm.

I like the look of 'Irish' but the backrest rack from Fehling in Germany appeals much more! I was wondering if one would fit with a Corbin 'Fast Gun' solo. Could you please measure and advise height from front mount bolt to bottom of back pad and the distance from back of your Roadster solo to the first rail of the rack. Appreciate it as that should help me work out if it will fit. ;):D

I can tell you it dosnt as the seat is too thick...the gap between the rack and mudguard is too small.... I know cos I have one...:banghead:

Just get one of these universal rack fitting kits.

Just to be 100% sure you do mean the Corbin "Fast Gun" solo which is often confused with the Corbin "Young Gun" which is a 'sometime' pillion capable and is much longer although still contoured to the rear guard?
