Of all the bikes I've owned my1975 Suzuki GT 550 was the most reliable. I brutalized this poor bike and it never gave me a problem. I stretched the chain so badly that I had to take links out. The previous owner striped the screws to the oil gasket so i never changed the oil just added to it when the oil went below the window port hole. One time I had a few drinks and shifted it from 4th to 1st gear at a speed i thought for sure would destroy the transmission coming off the highway..
I left it outside most of the times to the elements and never had a problem turning it over to start.
