So I have been debating for the last six months whether or not to get the saddle bags from my 2025 GT. The problem with the Triumph gearr is limited storage and cost just which doesn't add up as a good option. So in the end, I finally ended up going with a unique rear seat saddle bag.

There is no mounting hardware, simple to remove and has a carry strap and best part is it has a dry capacity of 37 liters vs Triumph saddle bags of 25 liters.

The fabric is 1200 denier fabric which is the same as you would find on a heavy gear bag (think hockey bag). Clips are heavy duty abs and the interior dry bag is removable. It has two exterior pockets and a zippered top pocket plus two main adjustable straps for carrying a tent or sleep bag on top of the bag.

In short, this setup is in my opinion is cleaner and easier to use. It leaves no mounting hardware behind and provieds back support on the ride. Best part is the cost was only $103 delivered from Amazon. The reviews were solid and given the gear I have bought over the decades... this is really well built.

I'm struggling to see how it attaches, other than the strap that goes over and under the pillion backrest. Is that all there is to it or is there some other anchorage not visible in the pics?
That would be ideal for me. No scaffolding on the bike and easy to access contents in-situ. I tried attaching a 30L Kriega tail pack for a day ride yesterday using rock straps around the back rest. It sort of worked but the pack kept sloughing to one side or the other and I had to stop and adjust it several times.

The bag comes with multiple mounting points to attach to the bike. What I have done is simplified it to make it a quick release.

I made the strap you can see at the back of the bike going through the sissy bar back rest. In the front of the bag, ai have made two attachment points that attach to a strap that goes under the seat.

I have zoomed in on that in the attached picture. This gives me three points of attachment keeping in secure, but providing a fast removal.

I have always liked to modify gear for my liking. Heck most of my posts on hear are about modifications.

I am content. It is not waterproof, has a "shower cap" that protects it from water.. Also, a magnet for pet hair, all my pets have contributed.

Good brand, tough, many pockets, bought it spontaneously when needed to go for a weekend ride with friends. Really like that it holds its shape even when empty.

In addition, it can really well support your back if you lean on it, helps with longer rides, it is a big plus for me personally, specifically like after 4 hours of riding.

Other than the super expensive Corbin hard bags, I have not seen any saddlebags that would look good on this bike. The struggle is real. Kinda in a holding pattern till I find $ for Corbin or discover something else.

For now mounted this "uglo" box just to have "something" I can offload items in a lockable container: imgur.com/a/uOaMCK1
