10 degrees? Wow - that's cold. It's gone above freezing here today, which is a welcome change. Now if only all that snow and ice would melt...
I teach at the university and have been here about 15 years. I love the teaching, mentoring and research. Being around smart young people helps keep me challenged. It's a lot of fun.
Nothing to do with the federal witness protection program The phrase Bob's Your Uncle is often heard in the UK, and I've always enjoyed it. I use it on other forums like RAT.

Interesting - I didn't know about the E. Sometimes I'd take out the exhaust baffle. It was louder, but not a lot faster. As I look back now, I'm amazed my girlfriend's dad allowed me to ride with his daughter on the back all the way from Guildford to Heathrow! I'd never let some 16 year old kid make a trip like that with one of my girls... Here's the mini beastie:
My very first bike was a BSA Bantam that I bought for 20 quid from a bloke at school. I'd ride it around the commons and along the gravel farm lanes in our village. It had no front brake when I got it, and after a while the back brake lever fell off. So I'd slow it down by downshifting and dragging my feet on the gravel. I think I'm going to like the R3R ABS system a bit better
Welcome! Just got my Rocket a few weeks ago also. Luckily I moved from Chicago and live in Daytona Beach, so riding is every day all year here. You will love the Rocket. Awesome power, looks and comfort.
Ha...the danger of getting a new bike in winter is that you will spend all winter online buying accessories for it! It will eliminate any discount you got on buying the bike. Welcome to the Rocket forum from Edmonton.

It's pretty feeble, isn't it? I put a Stebel Nautilus on my Tiger, and it certainly gets the attention of dopey cagers when they start drifting out of their lane.
