Welcome to the forum. I am very new to this forum but have been made very welcome. I have been riding a Yamaha Vmax for a while before getting my R3 recently. Glad I had the opportunity to experience real power before riding the Rocket. Otherwise I think I would have been a little faint of heart to buy one of these beast. The untamed, savage beauty and size is enough to intimidate the average rider, not to mention the brute force that the R3 produces. My second "biggest " bike was a 1200. I agree the sensation really is something else!

had the same thoughts when I got mine... purchased it on the net ... had sat on a rocket once before but hadnt riden oe untill it arrived at my door and love it
