I feel like my clutch lever needs to travel all the way before the clutch gets in contact. Is that normal? Is there a way to reduce that travel? Adjusting the lever maybe?

Yep, just turn the adjustment knob at clutch lever pivot. You may need to slightly open/close lever while adjusting so the knob turns easier. Clockwise to increase lever travel, opposite to decrease.

I saw the knob yesterday and tried to play with it, and just moved two slots, I didn't want to keep forcing it before asking here. I will try again today. I assume the clutch does not have any adjustment by itself....

U welcome! It's a hydraulic clutch so unlike cable clutches that you can tighten/loosen per se, these adjust solely at the lever which activates the clutch plunger into the fluid reservoir/chamber on the handle bar.
