Rocket 3R 2023
Friends, I'm thinking of installing the A9630716 mirrors on my Rocket 3R , is it better than the original ? any comments are welcome .

Hello friends, today I went to the triumph dealership and looked at the A9630716 mirrors, I realized that they are very small! does anyone use them on the rocket 3r ?

I'm not familiar with those mirrors, but can say that after my mirrors starting flopping around in the wind and I began looking at alternatives, including after market, that there seems to be a trend toward tiny mirrors. I bought some and returned them. If you don't mind moving your head around to see at the needed angle (but not at the split second moment), I guess they would be fine.

With some effort I finally found some that were similar in size to the originals and they stay put however you adjust them.

do smaller mirrors have less of a swing? is it just the field of vision that gets smaller?

I have the A9630716 , they are better than the original in design. But yes they are smaller and you see a bit less but you can adjust to be in the correct place.

Cool buddy, then I'll buy the A9630716, I like the look of it! \o/

Love the look of smaller mirrors, but couldn't stand the lack of view. You have to move your head around to see what you want to see out of frame- what's up with that?
Hate 'em, personally but that's just me.

i also hate not having a view !!! i just like the look of the smaller ones .

I love how much I can see in my f150 mirrors... they are really big and give a wide view of what is happening around. When I drive I like to be aware of my surroundings and I cannot drive without mirrors. When I first got the round mirrors for my rocket, I love the details on them, love the design but initially I felt that I lose some rear vision. After a few rides, and adjusting them to my taste, they are just fine. I can see what I need, car to my right, car to my left. I think the loss is a bit on the blind spot area but then again, I always check that before changing lines turning my head, so no issue there. A larger mirror can give you more of that or even real state to add a wide angle mirror, but, I don't feel it's needed. And I am someone that needs my mirrors.

Mate, my Rocket is the R, your Rocket is the GT, the handlebars on the Gt are different from the R, is there much difference?
