Well I accepted an invitation to go for a ride with my neighbour this morning. It was a little chilly with a light dusting of frost but we went anyway. Ended up in Halls Gap around lunch time so went in the local for a bite. Ended up with a roast of the day, lamb my favourite with mint sauce and all the trimmings. A top ride out now to get home again with a full stomach. Not a bad thing the Thunderbird, very capable machine and comfortable too. Turned out to be a good days riding. We were asked for a breath test on arrival by a couple of policemen who were very pleasant gents I have to say. Wished us a enjoyable journey and no hassles at all. Nice blokes I thought.
Rocket is running really well especially in the cold it pulls like forty schoolboys.

Sounds like fun Malcy. Did much the same, minus the lunch unfortunately. Must have been a good day for it. A mate with a Thruxton Ace bet me he could get to Honeysuckle Creek ahead of me. He couldn't. Bit cold here though - around 9 degrees - but sunny. I've posted some info on this place before when I went there with @ozrider . It's the site of the tracking station for the Apollo moon missions.

Looks like an intersting place to ride to, might check it out on a map for future riding.

No wombats today but a couple of roos almost ruined the day of 2 cars just in front of us at one pointy. Could have been nasty.
