A short, fat guy, a couple of Hagons and a Rocket Touring...

The dealer that ordered your shocks should have had them made for your wieght and to go on the rocket. I can't think how that would not happen.

All Rockets use the same shock. If you ordered form Hagon they should ahve came with the correct weight spring and prload set close to where it needed to be. Either you got the wrong spring rate or the install removed all teh preload.

Hard to see the diff in weight.
Even if 50 pounds, its not all over the shock and should be "built" in to the shock model/design.
I have heard all good with Hagon.

Yes I do have the stockers and am picking up the bike tonight while the suspension is in transit.

I ordered the shocks directly from Hagon, I specified the exact bike, my weight and the weight of my wife and notified them that she will be on the bike 90% of the time.

The guy that did the install suspects that the shocks were made for the regular Rocket and just happen to fit the touring which has a higher weight, all that coupled with my weight and the shocks being lowered made for shocks bottoming out.
