Would someone please measure their r3t handlebars for me? I would like to know what they measure at their widest point. Like tip to tip.
I am awaiting delivery of a new 2015 r3t, and I am curious if I'll be able to fit her thru my walkout basement doorway. I currently have a 2010 Nomad which I am trading. I can squeeze it thru and then the bike sleeps all winter in my warm cellar! I'm hoping I can do the same with my new rocket.
Thanks, Eric

Just measured mine on a 2014 (I bet all R3Ts are all the same) at 35 inches straight across, bar end to bar end.

I have always heard though, that the faster one is moving, the more narrow the vehicle becomes. I hope that helps...

That getting narrower bit only works when you are approaching the event horizon, and if there is a black hole that close to your house, we are all going to be feeling a little stretched.

Triumph reports the width at the handlebars as 995mm. That is a hair over 39". As @Boog pointed, the Triumph measurement can be conservative.

Remember too, doorways are often able to accommodate wider, non-uniform items (a table comes to mind, where one might turn it sideways, angle the table to get the first pair of legs through the door, then move the table to the back pair of legs and angle the table again to get those through) when there is room to maneuver on either side of the door. I have often done this moving motorcycles in and outside.
